Eastern Pressure say:

Eastern Pressure Records are proud to move into the new decade with an exciting collaboration EP between Midland’s dubstep producer Juttla and London rapper Manny Moscow. This cross genre experience works sees both artists excel and step-up for one seriously creative project. ‘The Forbidden Temple’ is a five track EP that oozes with originality from the production and arrangements, to the lyrics and concepts, right through to the vocal deliveries and flows. This is something refreshingly brand new, as well as something that is genuinely inspiring and uplifting. This is music that works on the dance floor, on the radio, in the streets and in your car! This is UK urban music at its best; this is UK dubstep, grime & Hip-Hop hybrid that really does work… this is ‘The Forbidden Temple EP’. This is abstract musical science probably best described as ‘verbal dubstep’!

Producer Juttla first started out making music in the early nineties having a string of releases on various record labels including the legendary drum’n’bass label Back 2 Basics and German label ZYX. His debut album ‘Angels, Aliens & Assassins’ in 1998 is considered a classic and was one of the first albums to come from the Asian underground sound. In 2005 he dropped an album of original Hip-Hop tracks and remixes entitled ‘Bass, Kicks, Snares, Spits’ on Wolftown Recordings which featured The Game, Slim Thug, Freeway, Saigon, Rass Kass, Inspectah Deck and more. Then in 2008 Juttla unleashed his new sound. Fusing all his musical influences Juttla created his own unique style of dubstep and released the well-respected ‘At War With Satan’ which received radio play from Bobby Friction & Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio One, as well as getting reviewed in the Metro newspaper. As a DJ & live act Juttla has played venues in all over the UK including playing at the legendary Glastonbury Festival twice and has rocked dance-floors in Cape Town (South Africa), Amsterdam (Holland), Brussels (Belgium), Paris (France), Warsaw (Poland) and Rome & Sicily (Italy). Juttla has also remixed for the likes of Marshall Jefferson (Hooj Choons), Asian Dub Foundation, Fundamental, Dopefish (Y4K), Banco De Gaia, LATE & Willie D (Geto Boys), Wayward Soul and many, many more.

Manny Moscow is a London rapper, lyricist and performer who has been making serious waves since he dropped his debut EP ‘The Three Piece Excursion’ back in October 2008. It was his debut mixtape ‘Live From The Kremlin’ in April 2009 with UK Runnings that excelled him into the limelight getting over a 1000 downloads in 48 hours! He then went on to show an extremely hard work ethic by dropping a string of successful free download mixtapes including ‘The Russian Revolution’ produced by Beat Thief, ‘From London To Berlin’ with Germany’s number one DJ Easy, ‘No Games’ with DJ Ames as well as hosting Volume 7 of LATE’s ‘Underground Exposure’ series. Then is October 2008 Manny Moscow dropped an official street album ‘The Boy With The Lost Flow’ that featured the likes of Big Cakes, Iron Braydz, LATE, Supar Novar, and more, as well as original production from Tricksta, Juttla, Sir Prestige, Miss Tofeless and more. Manny Moscow has shared stages with the likes of Skepta, Lethal B, Foreign Beggars, Killa Kela, Iron Braydz, Big Cakes, Grit Grammar and is now working on new mixtapes and a full-length debut album.

Juttla & Manny Moscow ‘The Forbidden Temple EP’ drops April on iTunes, Amazon, Play, 7 Digital, Napster and all leading MP3 on-line retailers. Please support quality independent music. For interviews, drops, remixes, bookings, verses etc contact us NOW!
