Djibouti soundtrack

February 8, 2009

A friend of ours has just come back from a trip to Djibouti and has used some music by Secret Archives of the Vatican as a soundtrack to his holiday video:

This is another opportunity for musicians to get their music heard; why not make your tunes available to the millions of people who make videos for YouTube and Vimeo? Just ask that they credit you and give a link to your website.

Interesting that you mention this because Jamendo posted on their blog last friday (http://blog.jamendo.com/2009/02/06/jamendo-pro-an-alternative-to-collective-rights-societies) that they are creating a platform, called Jamendo Pro (http://pro.jamendo.com) to help artists make their music available for public places, events, videos, website or any other projects. Maybe even make some money too.
