What is the future of music online?
Another BBC article with people from the music industry talking mostly bollocks as they continue to struggle to adapt to the modern age. There are some staggeringly arrogant comments about artists not being paid enough from modern download services – as if the record labels and collecting agencies themselves haven’t been royally shafting musicians for 50 years. Worth a read anyway, if only to know what they’ll be trying to do next.


Yes, it’s funny how the industry has suddenly shifted all of its energy into promoting itself as the motherly keeper of artists’ rights and welfare. Reciprocated of course by the ludicrous artist coalitions and their self-righteous mumblings and grandstanding…
